The MO Sec of State deliberately delayed certifying the lawful citizen petition, even after county clerks verified the voter signatures in the spring. He used the unlawful District map on Aug 4. Malfeasance should not trump state's rights. I hope the MO Supreme Court decision prevails.

Well a lot has happened in 4 days here in Missouri. The Supreme Court stepped in a second time and all nine justices refused to take the case. Our MO Supreme Court has ruled strictly along Missouri Constitution laws that the 2022 district map is the only legal map and must be used.

Missouri resident, BS/BFA, I am pleased with the outcome. My hope is that SCOTUS will not take the case. Voters initiatives are legislatively carved out to be rendered meaningless for over 20 years. The GOP only show attention when an election is in progress. We are fed up.

Mail in voting was so important to my housebound mother when she reached her 80s. She read the newspapers, magazines, watched Meet the Press, This Week, & Face the Nation. She never missed an election. These regulations would disenfranchise her access to voting. It is very wrong.
