They’re sassy brats most of the time, but I love them.

No, it wasn’t open. But I did walk around the base.

Ah, go on with ya ☺️

I knew that but I had insider info, so thought I should give others the opportunity to answer. 😉

It was! And the walk out to it through the wetland was cool too. Mostly on a boardwalk.

I’ll be back home soon. Can’t stay away from you two too long.

I don’t think it was a beaver.

Maybe 🤷‍♀️

You two are so spoiled and it’s all my own fault. After all, I’m the one who raised you.

It’s beautiful. I posted a few pictures yesterday and today. 😊

Yes, lots of stuff from when the Olympics were held there.

Notice I avoided asking what you were smoking.

I remember that funny story. They really had you going. Heh…

😂😂 Hey Griz! How’re you?

Not close to water right then. Definitely could have been a marmot size-wise, but I think they like higher elevation. Anyway, I was surprised to see it out and about in such heavy rain.

I failed to mention that I’m in the woods of Adirondack mountains. I don’t think it’s a favorable habitat for nutria.

Yes, could have been that.

Maybe 🤷‍♀️

@markmason13.bsky.social Hey Son, today I saw a critter that I couldn’t identify walking on the side of the road. It was brown, too big to be a squirrel. It wasn’t a possum. It’s possible it was a porcupine but I was past it before I could get a good look. What do you think it might have been?

Such a great song. I rode on The City of New Orleans from Chicago, IL to NOLA. Sang that song to Ken as we watched the world go by out the windows of the train.

Just driving around looking at the pretty scenery. Drove to Lake Placid in the pouring rain and had lunch. Took me a couple hours to get up there and about the same coming back.

Two bottles is always a good idea. We’ll pass them back and forth. 🎶 Pass the paper bag that holds the bottle…🎶

Old railroad bridge over the Sacandaga River, near the Hadley parabolic bridge I posted a photo of yesterday. This pic was taken yesterday afternoon too.

Railroad bridge over a fast flowing river, lined by trees with colorful fall foliage. Blue sky above.

I captured the Milky Way from Yanliao Port in Hualien, Taiwan. I wanted to capture it vertically. My 15mm wide-angle lens framed it nicely. High-resolution: app.astrobin.com/i/ypaqdp #astrophotography #astronomy #naturephotography #nature #longexposure #milkyway #eastcoastkin #photography

No Son. Whenever I start to toss something that could be reused, I think to myself what would Jane do?

It’s beautiful here!

Thank you for that nice compliment. Tomorrow I’m going to a cool place called The Wild near Tupper Lake. Rain or shine. 👏😊

You bet. You bring those plastic cups we used last time. Don’t worry about a corkscrew, it’s a twist off cap.

Nothing much. It’s dark now and still pouring rain. The thunderstorm has passed, at least for now. I’m just playing around online and enjoying listening to the rain. I have coffee, and the fireplace going, and the balcony door open. It’s screened so no bugs coming in. Nice evening.

What an absolute embarrassment he is. Also a complete jerk.

Thanks. It’s gorgeous here…just point and click. Only challenge is finding a spot to pull over. 🤣
