After a lot of processing, here are my Skubal thoughts: Did I want him to be traded? No. Do I think he should have been traded? No. But some of the takes I’ve seen are Insane. That the Tigers are all that’s wrong with baseball or the Dodgers are doing things the “right way” is absurd.

I haven’t done this in awhile, but just watched Berlin Express on Criterion. Jacques Tourneur is a true master of light and shadow. Shot in post-WW2 Germany, it is a bleak and extraordinary time capsule. Hopefully @eddiemuller.bsky.social will show it on Noir Alley someday!

This game should not be this close. 8 runs including 5 home runs and yet the Tigers find themselves in a slug fest. AJ needs to stop getting cute with his bullpen and get the win. Hanifee and Sommers are not mlb pitchers.
