Comments like: “I will never pick up a pencil again” or “i should kms” under other peoples work rlly makes me question if some of y’all just think art is a competition. For me it’s about personal creative expression rather than feeling the need to say something so weird and hide it as a compliment.

ok I know nobody rlly cares but this is my acc so here’s my classpects and bloodcastes hcs

A list of various homestuck headcanons for dialtown characters. Listed in left to right order, randy is a bronze page of doom, oliver is a gold heir of time, karen is a blue knight of heart, though I’m not really concrete in the caste, mingus is a fuschia thief of mind, crown is a fuschia prince of blood, norm is a purple mage of hope, gingi can be literally anything, and roger is a lime page of heart.

cross-platform quote repost in reply to this tweet (screenshot attached), long thread warning! bsky is cool & i hope everyone moves here eventually, but IN MY OPINION the primary reason to move should NOT be out of fear over ai, but rather as a *vote in favor of bsky's values over twitter's values*

Screenshot of Twitter thread that reads:

(1/3) 🚨 a reminder for artists (and anyone else) on the fence about leaving this site, if you value your work and information you have to dip NOW

delete your tweets, your art, your selfies, private your accounts if you don't want to delete them

move to 🦋, give the team feedback on what you want to see on the site, build your community there, it's the perfect time to do so! let elons twitter burn to the ground!!

(2/3) if you have a lot of posts to delete, use circleboom to mass delete all of them with 0 effort. just leave. leave leave leaveeeeeeeeee

(3/3) yes rebuilding sucks, but it is possible! i'm pissed as ever to let go of 4 years of work and 20k followers, it SUCKS, it's SCARY, especially when art is your job. but this is a grim reminder to not put all of your eggs in one basket, as tiring as it can be to manage multiple social media accounts, it will be better for you in the long run. i cannot stress this enough, 🦋 is worth putting in the effort. it was made with creatives in mind. people there want to build communities and support each other, you'll be welcomed with open arms. don't let this piece of shit goblin take ownership of your work and information and identity because you're scared of letting go

go and get a coffee with someone today. meet with someone you love, or someone you think you could love. ask a friend to hang out, or a neighbor, or family, or someone you often see at your bus stop. say "someone online dared me to do this" if you have to. reach out, for yourself and for others
