Was thinking about the multi-discipline and technologies in this. Assembly, fabrication, carpentry, painting, and electrical for the '70s stuff. Plus CAD., computer graphics, laser printing and cutting, Cricutting, FDM and resin 3D printing, and electronics while doing the hobby in the 21st century.

IIRC, the last rockets that I entered were in '75. They were on a more typical sawhorse style homebuilt launch rack and had rougher craftsmanship. I set them up in a fair building the day after a long parts run to northern Iowa and back with Grandpa Skow. Gotta flex that learners permit....

Resin test fit prints. 1/120th scale Astradyne from Captain Saucer and Stellomatic from InterStellar Overdrive with "Twinkles" and a generic battle babe as a placeholder for Flexia. 1/56th scale Zed with another faux Flexia. I'm going to print bigger models when I have access to a bigger printer.

Daydreaming in 3D resin about Holverson Designs PNCs including a few appropriated from Centuri. Recreations of Centuri Fighter Fleet parts, a side project, and a recreation of the MPC/AVI Mercury space capsule. The Mercury capsule was modified with a retro that has a hole to accept an eye-screw.
