I just noticed that I was cited in the Yale Report. The person who wrote this paragraph clearly did not understand what Bob and I were trying to express about the reasons why college price (and cost) have risen over long stretches of time. This is a wonderful example of a defensive citation.

What is the attachment to Russia of so many politicians in Europe? For Fico it can't be Slavic solidarity since Russia is brutalizing another Slavic nation. It's head-shaking weird to see any eastern European leader siding with Russia after what they experienced between 1945 and 1989.

My wife just joined Medicare. She uses an expensive eye drop that was covered by our prior health insurance. Her pharmacy just sent her this notice. People must make a blind choice without information because of a loophole in the "No Surprises Act." This must be fixed.

The entire effing purpose of the NIH is to fund BASIC RESEARCH, not product-specific research. The NIH understands that basic research and applied research are connected. Firms already have plenty of incentive to do their own product-specific research since they can patent that.
