After a few years of hard work, The Chosen One Con is out now on ebook with paperbacks to follow soon! Available on Kindle, Kobo, Itch and more to come. books2read.com/thechosenone... But of course, I couldn't publish this book without help, and I have a lot of people to thank! 👇
A promo image for The Chosen One Con, out now on Kindle, Kobo, and Itch. It shows the book cover to the Chosen One Con (a young white man in a trench coat holding a glowing blue potion bottle as though trying to steal it) and the following text: Magic spoke to me, whispering promises of fortune and fame. It spoke when I switched on the old MV and the screen came alive with the blue glow of magic, the faint spark and pop of aether flowing through the cables.

It's not too late to live your dreams. Sauron was over 50,000 years old when he started making magical jewelry. But Mary, he had legendary elven-smith Celebrimbor! I hear you. And that’s called “delegating”. You can do it too 👋 at www.marywyrd.com Dark Lords* need not apply *gender neutral

Well I "re" plotted 4 novellas today. All because during my week off I kept thinking "But, like, the pacing could be better right?" Dear Reader, in fact, the pacing COULD be better. Hate to be unemployed. Love to have the brain capacity to simmer in my writing details.

The world of the Lord and Lady Almvere is a completely reimagined ~1815 Regency England. The series is centered around five countries that bear the marks of the long-ago Fae.  And I’m talking ancient.  But sometimes things that are gone don’t stay that way.  More world lore coming soon! Follow!

Fun Fact 🐾 Researching historical fashion for #ThePlanarPages led to some fun discoveries. Search for “elizabethan collar” and you’re more likely to see a dog wearing a medical device. So, should your pup need to wear one, tell them they’re emulating high Elizabethan fashion. Like Griffin here 😍
A small white dog wears a ruff collar whilst sitting on a gray sofa. Text overlay: The Planar Pages. Fun Fact. Today, you’re more likely to see an Elizabethan ruff on a dog, otherwise known as the “cone of shame”. Now that’s ruff. www.dhalerambo.com

FUN FACT Solo women adventurers *are* historically accurate. An added bonus for my historically inspired worldbuilding for #ThePlanarPages, where I have more than one woman adventuring across worlds on their own. #WomensHistoryMonth #HistoricalFantasy
Did you know? Women adventuring solo isn’t a modern phenomenon. Meet Mariana. www.dhalerambo.com - Text overlays a closeup photograph of a room with damask wallpaper. A stack of three old but well preserved suitcases (oxblood, tan and dark brown) are partially seen on the right.
Fun Fact: Mariana Starke (1762-1838) was a pioneer of independent travel. Or what she called travel for those ‘who may not choose to incur the Expense attendant upon travelling with a Courier.’ Her Travels on the Continent ran to tens of editions. www.dhalerambo.com Text overlays on a golden background with a pale damask pattern. A stack of three old but well preserved suitcases (oxblood, tan and dark brown) are in the bottom right corner.
Mariana Starke and semi-retired adventurer Didia Humbledraft from The Planar Pages would have lots to discuss if they should ever meet. Text overlays a closeup photograph of a smart old fashioned looking oxblood carry case with brass locks set against a beige and white damask wallpaper. www.dhalerambo.com
