My collaborator and I tracked the concept of kerdea across 13 translations to see how translators interpreted and applied that interpretation to Penelope. Our findings were startling.

The excitement over Nolan's film has seduced me to teach a 1-credit course on The Odyssey. Eons ago I wrote my dissertation & published my 1st article on the story, learning ancient Greek to do it. What fun it will be to revisit it after all these years w/people fresh from watching the film.

Update on the progress of our Flash preservation work: We've completed preserving 178 works with Ruffle. Left are 502 more. We'll finish all but the 200 works held in “The Museum of the Essential and Beyond That Collection” in time for Wednesday’s celebration.
