I like the NHL, but not that into the regular season anymore. Thst said, why the hell did the NHL put the defending Stanley Cup champs against the Panthers at a 5 pm start on a Tuesday? I don't like either team, but that's a slap on the face.

The Tigers will miss the playoffs. The Lions look like garbage. The Red Wings are a laughing stock. It's hot & humid in Miami. I haven't been to a show in ages. And now to find out I'm not moving on with the job, I want to know why I can't have nice things.

Parents of young baseball players (9 & younger): Please stop buying them batting gloves, sliding mitts, and arm sleeves. It takes too long to put on, and kids start to care more about the gear than learning the game. The kids aren't going pro tomorrow.

My kids were each selected to be Marlins Youth Player of the Game on a broadcast this weekend. A player's dad heard about their interest in collecting baseball cards & gave the team cards to give to us AND the Marlins invited us to batting practice at an upcoming game.

Chris Illitch clearly didn't learn anything from his dad. Mike Illitch wanted a WS title in Detroit more than anything. He loved the team, the history, & the Olde English D so much that he spent money. That money got the Tigers to the WS twice. We're a long way from that now. #Skubal
