I know you’re trying to play gotcha, once or twice misrepresenting my phrasing in that attempt. These things can all be true: Carlos Beltran can be the former star for an AL team and also confound the Cardinals in the NLCS. Pedro Strop can be a former closer who also helped eliminate Cardinals.

While in London to cover #stlcards, tried to use the breezy nature of postcards as both an illustration and reminder to seek stories away from the usual base paths, beyond the ballgame content — such as a visiting a amateur baseball practice or an attempt to translate cricket lingo to baseball.
