During the conference we were also very happy that the winner of our Agilent Young Scientist Award Tim Steinwachs could give his great talk titled “Counterfeit detection using nanoparticle-embedded inks printed by modified inkjet and laser ablation single particle ICP-MS Imaging”. (5/6)

What do you consider your greatest achievement? My greatest achievement is that I faced moving out of Poland, my origin country, to another one and have coped on my own with all the difficulties, daily troubles, happening in a (for me) foreign language. (5/6)

What is your research about and what MS instrument are you using? (...) So basically I grow the lung pathogens in S2 level lab, and then transfer to the chemical one where I isolate and chemically characterize the metabolites released by bacteria parallelly checking its biological function. (4/6)
