October 1st is closing in. The deadline for when many insurance companies will give notice of rate increases. UnitedHealth is a contracted Medicare Part D provider. This is tied into the Medicare/Medicaid “cuts” that “Big Beautiful Bill” passed earlier this year, I fear. IMHO, brace for more.

I appreciate your cautionary skepticism, it’s a good thing. What interests me is the long disclaimer at the end and the details within. Chevron’s being very open about the if’s and and’s, which I appreciate. They’ve got several decades of dealing with South American countries. Admirable.

I would be willing to say Chevron, to whom 47 owes favors, when said company backed out of past agreements to process the type of heavy crude Venezuela is known for. I believe there are limited facilities in America that are set up to be able to process that type of oil, if memory serves me.
