We underrate how nuts it is that GOP senators act like it's a given that Smith's prosecution of Trump for a plot to steal the 2020 election was some baroque partisan conspiracy. They hid from a mob on Jan 6. But now they're trying to puzzle out how the secret plot to frame Trump was orchestrated.

The Kennedy Center joins the Reflecting Pool, Lafayette Park and sort of the White House itself (no tours) where supposed renovations have led to indefinite loss of public access. After taxpayer funded plans/construction, these places are fenced off and closed down, not improved.

Late last month, ICE reportedly put 12 Somali men on a plane and told them they were being deported to Somalia. Instead, they arrived at Guantanamo Bay, where seven or eight of them remain. Since then, the men have said they have been subjected to frigid temperatures and are shackled at all times.

You could say that even Joe diGenova proved too ethical for Trump, though as with the exit of Ed Martin, an alternative theory is that Blanche is professionalizing DOJ's efforts to prosecute or harass critics putting more competent but equally unscrupulous lawyers in charge.
