A wide swath of NHL fandom should be relieved, I am not watching any of their games tonight. I am quite indisposed.

Dominique "DF" Pendrys 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 @dfpendrys.northsky.social · 06/10/2026

Worry not Bruins, Sharks, and Flyers fans. I will not be watching your games tonight. Your teams are safe from my curse. I have been prevented from getting to the TV. And should i escape...I'll watch Jets v. Penguins. 😝

So I watched the Canadiens, only after I stopped watching did they come back and nearly pull it out. I watched the Devils. They lost. I watched the Bruins. They lost. Don't worry Sharks fans I have been subdued and am not watching.

I know what you're wondering... Are there any women's hockey tournaments in Colombia this weekend? YES! There is actually.

Still sick. Normally it is what is it but I started this job over a month ago. This is not the impression I want to make but I can’t help it.

Once again watching an exciting WPBL Championship game! (Why am I tied up if I'm actually watching the game when that bit is for not watching the games? *shrugs*)

Don't worry LA Queens fans. The stakes are too high for me to risk cursing the team tonight after watching the last game. I have been subdued before I could reach the TV and will not watch. Go Queens!!!!!!

Silly image of my bitmoji in LA Queens gear tied up outside the TV room.

Dominique "DF" Pendrys 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 @dfpendrys.northsky.social · 13/09/2026

Well the LA Queens could use any advantage right now so I turned the game off to eliminate any possibility of the curse. Here's hoping for a come back. I will be kept from the game. Apparently I should have stopped watching an inning ago. :_;

None of the sports they apply to are on today so no bondage jokes today. I know I know…I’m sad too. 🤣

I know the Firebells are all set for playoff seeding, but I don't want to curse them all the same so don't worry I want them to win but I will be kept away from the game by any means necessary. Superstition is a powerful thing.

Now I know yesterday I may have cursed the Firebells last night, but I am cheering on the Queens tonight in the WPBL and I don't think there's any need to take any drastic measures to prevent me from...oh come on!...

Dominique "DF" Pendrys 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 @dfpendrys.northsky.social · 05/09/2026

Worry not Firebells fans, I have been wrestled away from watching the game and subdued to prevent cursing the team anymore. Hopefully they can rebound now.

Haven't noticed if I'm having any effect on WPBL teams cursewise. I like all four teams so it's hard for me to curse any of them win loss wise. HOWEVER, if I dooo lean Firebells/Queens slightly, and if I do notice any curse of course I'll break out the anti-curse bondage bit.

While one can never truly stop mourning the loss of a parent (estranged or not and with obvious exceptions)… The mourning period has ended and I am ready to move on as best as I can.

That if I not only don't watch a game of an NHL team I want to win, and also post a bitmoji of me tied up (as I am being prevented from watching by drastic measures), the team have a much better chance of not losing than if I watch the game. The success rate has been far higher than expected.

The Tempo will soon be playing one of my faves the Valkyries. Should be a great WNBA game. Unlike the Sirens though neither team makes it easy to drop a bondage reference.
