Shout out to the Sacramento PD for sending four of their finest bike officers on Saturday to stalk a group of mostly geriatric marchers participating in a vigil for all the people murdered by ICE. I'm sure we looked super dangerous with our butterfly signs and posters of the murder victims.

Despite Trump's "opening" of California's water earlier this year, all but one of the state's major reservoirs are above their historical averages as of April 16! Sacramento's closest reservoir is Folsom Lake.

Hiking at Hetch Hetchy has long been on my bucket list, and today I was able to check off that item. We hiked along the reservoir to (dry) Tueeulala Falls, then had to turn around because the Wapama Falls bridge was out. We didn't see another person on our hike, and the weather was perfect.
