Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 09/10/202630 person line at FFX gov center at 2pm, looked like turnout was still going strong. 000
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 08/10/2026That sign can’t stop me because my model predicts it won’t. 020
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I just finished Charity and Sylvia and people dying of nothing left and right. I’d really prefer to not go back to that. 020
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 08/10/2026of course, if they were willing to take that much of a step then they could just ignore them completely, bad faith all the way down. 000
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Need to have the city council demand that any of these stupid studies come with insurance against their low projection to be listened to. Sure, pay up if you want us to believe it. 100
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 07/10/2026A quantum circuit is the building block of a quantum computer, which works with bits that aren’t 0/1 until you get to a result and read them. Polynomial time means that the algorithm is reasonable to build a computer for. Essentially: factoring (which breaks crypto) is easy and reusable on a QC. 140
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Phantom tollbooth? Not really the same family though. 030
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 04/10/2026I think there’s a more modern version that cleans up some of the nonsense, but it’s a pretty big hill to climb to start with the original without help. 000
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I mean if you can’t go to the drama lesbian bar, umass football is right there! 011
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Wainwright Alaska definitely needs a court with 30-40 of the most obvious suspects. 000
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I was trying to track down a 60s sci-fi the other day and it was hopelessly useless since it kept creating stories rather than searching for an existing one. 140
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Reread Emily Wilde, and then “The exquisite torment of loving your enemy.” Need to go and do a whole bunch of new holds, my hold list is down to only a few books. 031
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I would hate that look, I have a corian counter with embedded colors and there are always places where it looks like something is broken due to the patterns. A pattern that actually looks like a crack would drive me insane quickly. 100
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Probably a pretty joke in there somewhere about “real G’s” 040
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 26/09/2026If the law is on your side argue the law, if the facts are on your side argue the facts, if the judge is on your side please stop arguing. 0110
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Yea. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one in person before, and was interested to see one. The second was confusing, how common are these?! The JetBlue gate was c9, so close to E which probably helped. 100
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Moved my flight from sat to yesterday to get out of Logan before the weather. Waiting for my plane and it was neat to see two A380’s arrive. 100
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Right up there with the bus refusing to stop and going to Vienna. 060

Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Gosh, you’d think just sending raw data would be ok, given that they could have the AI analyze the reports they get? Like why would you do formatting and interpretation on the user side? 030
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 21/09/2026What looks like a Spite house as a commercial site is pretty neat. Crazy commercial real estate rates also murder 3rd spaces, which isn’t ideal. 040
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Those Paw Paws are a strategic resource that can't be overlooked! 031
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Texas college of bad sportsball doesn’t really roll off the tongue. 010
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 20/09/2026TBF, at -7 it might still be his best issue. Of course, that doesn’t mean you can’t make it even worse. 001
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 20/09/2026You start with good intentions, make a wrong turn somewhere, and wad the whole thing up and jam it somewhere out of mind? 020
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Most of mine would have adored a mission style cat tree, but I’m not sure the things on it would have agreed. 000
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 17/09/2026It’s what happens when you remove the don’t talk about ghosts prompt 040
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Not really relevant, but the least well off people aren't getting mortgages... 020
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Not culture, but read Against a Dark Background. Rather depressing though. 000
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 15/09/2026I thought you meant Electronic Arts at first, it seemed more plausible. 000
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Good news, if there’s one industry where it’s ok for the sums to not always come out right it’s probably that one… 050
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 13/09/2026I didn’t get the probate loans, but I did get offers are waiting on your place, which was pretty funny since it was an apartment in an independent living facility and couldn’t be sold that way. 240
Dave Finberg @dfinberg.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Did you read "A spell for change"? More Appalachian witchery. 110
