#Monster Menagerie 10: Kraa Released in 1998 by the Monster Island label of Full Moon Features, "Kraa! The Sea Monster" is...not a good movie. It IS however a fun time in a 'so bad it's good' way and honestly? I've always really liked the design of the titular giant monster.

#Monster Menagerie 09: King Boo The Mushroom Kingdom is no stranger to ghosts with Boos, Stretches, Peepas, and Broozers being recurring enemies. The strongest of them all is their powerful leader, King Boo the arch enemy of the cowardly Luigi.

#Monster Menagerie 08: The Butcher In the lore of Green Lantern, the color spectrum is paired with the emotional spectrum. Each emotion is embodied by an ancient powerful creature, the first to define that emotion. For the red light of rage that is the Butcher, the first entity to ever commit murder

#Monster Menagerie 07: The Blank Faced Aliens I imagine for a lot of people about my age 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' was also a gateway to the horror genre. While there were plenty of memorable monsters one of my favorites were the race of Blank Faced Aliens from 'The Tale of the Thirteenth Floor'

#Monster Menagerie 06: Nue The nue is a yokai, described as a having the head of a monkey, body of a tanuki, limbs of a tiger, and its tail is a snake. Dark clouds swarmed over the Imperial Palace and the cry of a bird, also called the nue, could be heard. An archer was called to strike the beast

Monster Menagerie 05: The Sumatran rat-monkey Widely regarded as one of the goriest films, Peter Jackson's early film 'Braindead' features a strange hybrid creature which bite infects a woman turning her into a zombie and infecting a whole city. Worth checking out but again, one of the GORIEST films

#Monster Menagerie 04: Inkanyamba In the mythology of the Zulu and Xhosa peoples of South Africa there is the inkanyamba. Said to be a giant serpent with a dragon or horse like head, it dwells within the waters of the area. Its anger will generate storms and it is said to be the source of tornadoes.

#Monster Menagerie 03: The Gargoyle I feel like Castlevania: Bloodlines is an underappreciated game in the series. It features two playable characters, unique levels, and some truly outstanding boss fights like the Gargoyle whom you fight on the rooftop after scaling the Leaning Tower of Pisa

We are now halfway through Lanterns and I have FINALLY found a criticism I have. I really wish they used the round ring instead of the emblem ring, considering both Hal and John had it in the comics. It doesn't HURT the show by any means, but changing that little detail would just make it better.
