So remember Magnum? The little kitten we had to save who was very sick? He's having the best glow up and embracing the Halloween spirit! He's very people oriented and friendly, and will soon be ready for his neuter and be available for adoption! #kittenrescue #rescue #cata

Kitten season never ends. Our rescue was alerted to this little guy we named Magnum, who had to be rushed to the emergency vet because he was covered in maggots and in rough shape. We have a donation setup to cover medical care, please help out if you can. secure.givelively.org/donate/borde...

Ignore the fact I used the wrong paper, I had a blast making this with watercolor pencils and white ink.

A traditional painting of a great blue heron done with watercolor pencils and white ink. The bird itself is primarily vibrant blues and purples with a beak that fades from light purplish to yellow. It's set against a pink and orange background with a white outline around the bird.

Playing around with acrylics and posca markers. Not exactly what I was picturing in my head but I'm having fun with it

Stylized ginko leaves in various shades of green, with yellow, green, and blue patterns adorning them against a background that starts as a soft blue then fades into white and fades into a warm golden tone.

Finally reunited with my beloved favorite sandwich again courtesy of juicy marbles vegan meat alternative. I missed this so much you have no idea.

I made carne asada tacos yesterday and they were delicious. Cooked up fantastic. Seriously, if you have allergies to red meat or other health issues, look up Juicy Marbles. They're worth every penny.

First weekly art meetup was fun! I got to try watercolor pencils and crayons and may have found a new favorite medium. First piece is the actual study, the second was a fun doodle.

A lot of folks watch the Lord of the Rings movies for new year's eve but for me my go to movie is Tokyo Godfathers. It's just such a perfect holiday film, and watching it on new years's eve just feels extra special since the film starts on Christmas and ends on New Year's Day.

Made a (mostly) vegetarian taco bake. I say mostly vegetarian because I couldn't find vegetarian refried beans so I had to use traditional ones that are typically cooked in animal fat. Still delicious though.
