I think thats been their goal for a while & thats been the rush. Get everything uploaded now & let the angry planet take care of the rest. Also the reusable rocket/spaceflight for rich amateurs goal too--escape into space for stretches (during the worst) & come back when the coast is clear.

I've assumed that for a while. They don't need everyone working on many things anymore. Automation/robots will take care of so much. Upload all of humanity's output so far, then let it figure out problems they care about. They dont want to see poors & dont need them for work anymore. 1/2

I'm not sure how even people believe that girl/women spaces (bathrooms/dressing rooms/locker rooms) are safe spaces. Girls/women get abused by girls/women. Same in boys/mens rooms. They're not some magically safe space.
