iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

final old images sharing rn: doodles for a pmd-esque au where he ends up working alongside detective pikachu (from the ds games, not the newer stuff) as a buizel, and an expressions chart meme that prob has several images I no longer have in it

230

additional one of him in a nasa jacket (I thought he'd like one), second images is from a 'draw your oc in what you're wearing' meme, & third image is just a silly him being afraid of ghosts

also experimented with putting Devin in suits & other outfits for work. I used to have digitally finished & colored versions of those sketches, but looks like I lost them when I shut down the blog. I know there used to be more, too

another thing I've drawn him in a lot was that dark grey pullover. it's just so shrimple to draw (completely forgot I had a second drawing of him smoking. I think this one might predate the other one / led up to it. also: behold Devin chewing on a pen)

a few more drawings of him wearing the scarf from over the years

(pulled from my old laptop) these are the first, original drawings of "Devin". he keeps the jacket, and sometimes I draw him with the scarf if it's cold (the scarf isn't canon to [character] but is a reference to lore from them. I give them both the scarf as a treat)

Without downloading any new pics, describe your gender

a few panels from the webcomic paranatural of two characters, Max and Johnny, who are boys in middle school, talking after having been in a fight. In the first visible panel, Johnny says "Oh, sure. Nothin' like facing your problems head on, huh? With your fightin' brain?". In the next visible panel, Johnny is punching the air while saying, "No, seriously. I mean, why take the maze when you can bust on through the walls?". Max has speech bubbles as well but they've been whited out.

@dexmckinnery.com @wyntersong.com this is something like how the drawing was, except in the original drawing i spent about a week on the lines, & another week on the coloring, and then i edited the lines again (instead of just an hour on the whole thing) this is like losing my own mona lisa

a white man with dark hair standing with his back to us. his head is turned to look behind him at the viewer. he is wearing jeans and is not wearing a shirt. he has a shirt on his arms as if he is either about to put it on or has just taken it off.

me when i can't find a specific drawing from years ago of devin (oc) taking his shirt off

p sure there's a single other instance of me drawing a character smoking, but it's years older than that one & i don't seem to have it on my computer, so went ahead & found some of the most recent drawings of the detective (all from 2019 as far as i know, some might be from 2018)

Artist! Quote with a smoking character! 🚬 an old thing from (checks info) 2018, but also literally one of the only times i've ever drawn a character smoking. behold: detective coffee (not how his name is spelled) rarely used character #oc

Drawing of a white man with dark hair standing in the dark. He's wearing a brown jacket and jeans, has a cigarette in his mouth, and is holding a lighter close to the end of the cigarette to light it.

trying to type up story & he's in the corner of my screen looking at me 💜 (picture is set to randomly change every so often between all images in specific folder, so he is not always there)

It's gym leader Morty from the Johto region pokemon games. It's a picture of his face with a subtle smile.

This drawing is the reason i came back here tbh. I made this at the end of last year & was trying to see if I've posted it anywhere. for reasons. something something "perceive", something something "don't stare at the sun" #aceattorney #apollojustice

Drawing of the character Apollo Justice from the Ace Attorney games. Apollo is staring directly at the viewer with wide eyes while gripping the bracelet on his wrist. The image is brightly colored with a dark circle centered behind his head symbolizing the sun.

fake trading cards for some original characters. the cards are made by using polka dotted washi tape to tape doodles of characters into card sized papers, and have additional scraps of paper taped on top with the characters names. the first two cards are of a single drawing that was cut in half, it is of the characters Fulcrum and Simon holding hands and flying. A card of a third character sits by itself, it is of the cat themed cyborg character, Milo, and has a drawing of them doing a silly pose. Milo's card has an additional scrap of paper taped onto it detailing that they have 80 health points and an attack. The attack details say "Attack. attack wverythjng around you. do spin attacks and hurt things." the attack is a reference to a funny post someone else made

my silly guy (& Milo in one, who is also my silly guy but not gendering the word guy that time) some old simon sketches i found in his tag

071

some posts from Simon's tag related to his almost villain arc lol

screenshot of a tumblr post that says "Yup returning to necromancy, I'm so back. And you're so back, and you're so back, and you're so back, and you're"

screenshot of a tumblr post that says "I deserve a mech suit. I deserve a symbiotic relationship with heavy machinery. I deserve to experience a perfect connection between flesh and metal"

not from this sketchbook but attaching to this bc same au found this sketchy of Simon in owl house au while going through his tag (on my abandoned tumblr blog)

& some posts from Simon's tag. Simon is a trans boy but that's not relevant to the story at all bc he's too busy hiding from the evil scientists that made him + his found family is all lgbtq+ in some way so all of his interactions are with people who accept him

screenshot of a tumblr post that says "2024 will be the year of the beautiful agoraphobic transsexual who is slowly going better"

screenshot of a tumblr post that says " "amab or afab" im alab experiment that went wrong"

grabbed some posts from Galaxy's tag on one of my old blogs for them (don't use tumblr anymore so not attaching url. also Galaxy is pan & omnigender, but all genders in the same way that white light is all colors of light & at the same time something new entirely)

screenshot of a tumblr post that says "Girlboy with a he/him pin on one sleeve and a she/her pin on the other. Two people sitting on either side of her aggressively correcting each other on his pronouns". the tumblr post has two additions on it, the first says "her pronouns", the second says "his pronouns"

screenshot of a tumblr post that says "they hated him for his tboy swag and also the killings"

screenshot on a tumblr post. the post is of an image gif that originally had blinking lights in the original post. the image is of a banner with stripes in the background going from pink on top, purple in the middle, and blue on bottom. on top of the stripes is a purple silhouette of a cat head and the word "Catgender" next to it. Each letter of the word Catgender would light up white in a wave, the screenshot has it stopped with the a highlighted.

screenshot of a tumblr post that says "Every immortal who says they aren't even a little fruity is a liar send tweet"

for a while i've been thinking it'd be fun to draw a little picture in the background of my whiteboard calendar, & i just got around to setting it up for september so i thought i'd do that finally, and what better choice to draw than #MyFriendMalamar ?

photo of a white board calendar hanging on a wall. the calendar has the month of september on it and, covering most of the calendar, is a drawing of the pokemon malamar
