Mr. Greenthumb is having to be very attentive to the vegetables that are growing. A mile above sea level and the UV index is insane most days because of the altitude. We had what they're calling a toxic dust storm the other day and yes I wear a mask on those days.

We finished the back fence last year and I've been tuck pointing and replacing all loose or missing mortar on the block wall, side and the front section. All of the lumber, the 2x6x8 ft' and the 1x6x8 ft, 24 pieces have been primed and are ready to go up! I just need for the wind to die down some.

Temps in the sixties and it's not getting down to freezing at night. This usually happens in February in New Mexico. The Daffodil and Hyacinth 🪻 have already come up. The Iris bloomed in December!

Sometimes it's best to just go on and let comments speak for themselves! Often the comment says more about the person commenting than anything else and sometimes, the more that you hear, the less sense it makes. I have to laugh but my time away from social media will be much longer this time. 😊

Indian corn that we grew will be used in fall or Christmas wreaths. The two pumpkin plants that came up are huge and may need to be separated! We've had yellow and red tomatoes all summer! Grow your own.

I have to water💦 the garden circle every day but it is producing and now the yellow tomatoes and the cucumbers are reaching edible size! 😋

Pic of three of the first yellow tomatoes, they are less acidic than the red ones. I love fresh homegrown tomatoes, they taste so much better than store bought ones!

We went for a walk this evening. We haven't been out much lately because of smoke, dust, UV index of over 10 most days and temps in the 90°'s. It was cloudy with moisture in the air, unusual.
