Been a lil bit since I’ve done commentary due to the chaos these past few months. Won’t lie when I say I’m a bit nervous this morning. It’ll definitely pass as I get into the swing of things again though. *Deep Breath* Aight, LI day 2 starts soon. 🔥

Bad flooding happened yesterday. My place is fine. Parents place basement flooded. I’m being tasked to do lifting to get everything out since they can’t. Sucks that my current condition is trying to recover. O7 Doovy’s physical condition tomorrow. It’s gonna go right back to square one.

Today is a day I’ve been trying to plan for months. After an unfortunate event on my end in July, it is now finally happening. Today is the day I host a Splat 2 pb to celebrate 3 friends birthdays while having a blast from the past. Lobby has been pre filled, but I will be streaming it all@ 3pmet

Supervisor called in sick this morning. I can never escape the double work. I’m in a lot of pain today. I’m gonna be ready to just go home and pass out. Here we go, second half of the day starts now. Wheeeeee. 🙄

In addition to this, main reason why I thought it was gone was due to the fact I agreed to play support for a crew that already had a backline. It was a sacrifice I was willing to make to play with long time friends again.

I’ve been asked to stream FFXIV before the event ends. Today I can finally do so. I should be live @ 2:30pm MDT. I will be continuing the Stormblood MSQ. Im definitely nearing the ending climax of it. Feels like it at least. What kind of remarks is my fire loving dragon gonna today? 😏

Well, today was my birthday and it was pretty chill over all. All I've really got to say this year is how thankful of the people that I have in my life. Despite all the life hurdles, they were there to make me laugh, listen and help me through it all. Here's to another year with you all.

People who know me know that I’ve named my hydra Hugo. So today I had one tell me to look at the multiplayer part of the direct. My first response “that’s my son! In humanoid form.”

Moment when I’m looking at the app or pictures of game stats, then just get distracted by title combos. Some of the combos made are there to just make others laugh. Those are the ones I appreciate.

Today is my Monday and am I ever feeling it. Go into work and this happens: 1. Find out we are double short staffed 2. 2 days of my pay was missed. 3. Nose is dying from customers lack of hygiene. 4. Regular customer that was one of my favs passed away. Praying rest of the day goes ok.

Getting my splatling fits updated. Hedit one is now a big throwback. Using the shirt I used the most before I became a splatling main/started comp. Then combining that with the bracelet, my main S2 Chydra accessory when it came out. Def happy with this one.

Next rotation is calling to me to get more points on Liter. Got a 1/4 of the bar left till I finally 5 star the thing. Guess this means stream @ 2 pm et. People can witness me fail being in my enemies shoes once more. Or join me while doing so. 🤷‍♀️

Devvy “Hydra Mom” @devvydoovy.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

Oh yeah. I’ll have a stream today since I’m off. I’ll be working on weapon freshness while playing with friends, 1 of them still being very new to the game. Should be a fun time. 3pm et is the target start time. See ya. 👋

Devvy “Hydra Mom” @devvydoovy.bsky.social · 10/05/2026

Since there isn’t a SCS stream tomorrow, I will be live @ 3pm et! Plan is to hydra a bit, because Mother’s Day. Let the hydra mom have a little fun. lol 😏 Then will be continuing to get stars on the zooka mini with @jamiejiggles.bsky.social later on. 👌🏻

This past bit has been the big talks about women in esports, etc. I haven’t experienced anything crazy like some, but have been shoved aside because of it. Sometimes I wonder if I would’ve gotten to where I am if I didn’t take up the captain role. 1/2

Meta be damned find what you enjoy and play it. Learn it so in depth that you become an expert on it. Know it so well that you can do anything with it. So many weapons in the game are extremely flexible there’s never just one solution to a match. #compsplatoon
