And which Indian products did you buy lately? Infosys consultancy or a tata truck. Shut your face you imbecile. These are sanctions and not tariffs to punish Russia.

That as it may be, but secondary sanctions on the major trading partners of Russia is an excellent measure. Now let's hope he pushes through with them.

US does almost no trade with Russia so direct sanctions have no impact. Secondary sanctions on the major trading partners of Russia, like India, will hit them much harder.

Let's hope many more countries and companies that profit from trading with Russia are slapped with similar secondary sanctions. It's about time.

So you approve of India buying oil on the cheap from Russia and thus supporting their war in Ukraine? Maybe think before you meme.

Secondary sanctions imposed on countries like India that have significant trade with Russia, would have a very significant impact.

Maybe you guys should learn about the Dutch trading mentality and how that has been used for hundreds of years to reach goals in a pragmatic way. If that means putting the client or trading partner on a pedestal, so be it. The goal does justify the means.

And Russia may like to take Hokkaido and China could decide to "liberate" Okinawa/Ryukyu.. it's a new world order after the US has decided to withdraw it's protective umbrella.

The Baltics and Finland are certainly vulnerable to Russian aggression, but imagine the neighborhood of Japan when China takes Taiwan. Basically cornered on all sides by countries not exactly the greatest fans of the Japanese.

Japan also neighbors Russia.. and with China and North Korea, I would say Japan's security issues are at least on par with Europe. What this does mean is that nuclear non proliferation is finished.. and that would be a very hard thing to accept for Japan but they may be forced to.

I meant more security issues for Japan itself if it can no longer rely on US nuclear protection. So basically the same situation as the EU vis-a-vis the US.

A bankruptcy of Gazprom because of lost income from the EU is catastrophic for the Russian economy. US bank sanctions of course hinder transfers but the Russian economy is not dependent on foreign financing unlike western and other emerging markets.

In 2021 the EU-Russia trade amount was around 260 billion euro and the US-Russia trade amount was around 20 billion USD. So obviously EU trade sanctions are far more important than US sanctions.

I would say the Hubble tension is not so much model versus observations, but rather two different types of observations (CMB and galaxy measurements) not agreeing.

We certainly receive a fair share of earthquakes, that's for sure. But in particular the central part of the country, around Ankara, has no fault lines so a large section of the pipelines is not impacted by quakes.

www.eea.europa.eu/soer/2010/co... Being a transport hub for oil and gas is actually one of the priorities of Turkey. An extensive pipeline structure already exists and is being expanded.

This copper alloy arm purse found in the #Roman settlement of Nida (Frankfurt-Heddernheim) was used as a secure method to carry coins. To spend the money, the purse had to be removed from the arm. On display at Archäologisches Museum Frankfurt 🏺 AncientBluesky #archaeology

I cannot find a reference to the 22 skulls you say were found this year in Sefertepe. A single skull has been reported with a missing lower jaw bone as far as I can gather from Turkish publications.

Exactly. The only people knowledgeable about the excavation at that time would have been the workmen of Mellaart and they are suspected of smuggling artifacts of other excavations such as at Hacilar.

The article states that the statue was taken during excavations in the late 1960s but as far as I am aware approved excavations stopped in 1965. Could this have been illegally excavated?
