Indeed, here is what Meta's spokesperson told RTO Insider... "Meta’s 100% clean energy commitment uses methodologies from the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Annually, Meta matches its electricity use with 100% clean and renewable energy on an annual basis based on megawatt-hours,"

Very interesting new research on 24/7 #carbon-free #electricity procurement. What happens if you don't have access to your hourly electricity demand data, and need to use a proxy instead? Turns out, the positive impacts of 24/7 procurement are relatively consistent even when using approximations 🔌💡
