Yesterday I photographed a really beautiful elopement on the Mall in DC. Today I made the mistake of listening to some podcasts to catch up on the news. Ups and downs are definitely going to be the MO for the next few years.

I have the most amazing goth drag dark glamour portrait session waiting for me in my editing pile 🖤

I think a lot about how different focal lengths impact a portrait, what focal lengths are traditionally used in photography, and how the way we expect to see ourselves in a photo has changed with selfies taken on cell phone cameras. 35, 55, and 85 shown here and an iPhone is generally what, 24?
