I lowkey love being in charge of my own universe sometimes because I can just give a character green spirit fire and just say that there’s a bunch of different power type variations (she uses red fire with her scythe) I also quite like how this effect turned out btw, updated preview

Unrelated to the sketch mostly but I love being in charge of my own completely disconnected OC world because I can put fox girls in them and no one can stop me Anyways fox girl in question:

A work in progress (WIP) sketch of Mizuki, my kitsune girl OC. She is depicted in a slight hover balanced on the tip of her left foot, holding her signature scythe staff and giving a cute yet confident pose, a small flame at the tip of her finger

In the top left is the more recent doodle used for reference, with a bit of information still visible anyway:

Mizuki (Full Kitsune Example):
- Age slightly differently to humans (1 human year = 1.5 kitsune years)
- Visible fox ears, fangs, “sharp” pupils and fox tails, grows one tail every 10 kitsune years (around every 6-7 human years)
- Can hide their tails at will, but not their ears, pupils or fangs

I can elaborate now I think Ellie “descends” from Matilda in a sense. Far into the distant future (in the timeline Ellie was created) Matilda was eventually decommissioned, and her design laid the groundwork for Ellie to a certain degree By technicality this makes Matilda unknowingly a mom I think

Angela “Angie” Fish, honey, I love you with all my heart but also your tail is TOO LONG I can never fit you in your entirety on a canvas ever I swear, and your lure makes you taller too GRAHHHH-

Unfinished WIP sketch of Angela in a different outfit to normal. She’s wearing a sort of dress that completely hides her feet and trails on the floor, with a wavy pattern at the base and at her sleeves. The dress ends just below her shoulders, and seems to have a space cut for her tail to come through, which as per usual reaches to the floor in the middle and then stands upward at the end. There are a few long stitches of connecting material on the main dress and sleeves, and she wears pearl necklaces around her neck and waist.

Her hair is slightly cleaned up and sideswept compared to usual, though still spiked in a lot of places. Notably, she isn’t wearing her visor here, as it seems to be dark enough that her eyes aren’t as irritated. Her expression is a nervous smile, complimenting her nervous hand gesture with her fingers together. She is also talking about her situation here:
