influence and boost audience numbers.... But alas, this is likely wishful thinking.... It'd be so cool to see the series revitalized in this way especially with no Mother 4 on its way, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see

Nintendo release of Mother 3, all the while refurbishing the series with a re-make. I think the western audience has definitely grown, and MOTHER was already popular in Japan to begin with, that I feel like this could be warranted. I'd also like to believe that maybe Deltarune or Undertale could

I think the biggest one of all would be Mother 3 though. A remake of Mother 3 would give them an actual reason to finally release it beyond Japan, regardless of any rumors surrounding Mother 3 localization to begin with. It would finally put an end to the decades of asking and hoping for an official

Not to mention, a re-make of Mother 1 would finally allow them to balance out the game properly so Mt. Itoi is not literal hell on earth and make no-death runthroughs like genuinely a feat.... there are just already a lot of opportunities from a Mother 1 remake alone, really

Additionally, think about all the story and re-writing potential of Mother 1.... Honestly I feel like you get so few crumbs of the actual story through text, most of it is put together at the end but there could be so much more room to build upon and tell the larger story from the start.

I could see it in like a Link's Awakening style, or upgraded visuals with 3D animations and the like on the 2D-esque world. Personally Mother 1 would probably benefit the most with these graphics, otherwise Mother 2 and Mother 3 are already pretty chill imo in terms of graphics.

This is something I've honestly been hoping for for many years now, but doubt we will ever get.... but I personally can't help but feel it would be great for the series and provide a lot of opportunities to western MOTHER fans that we have missed out on for many years.

You wanna know my Nintendo Direct dream? My thing that is idealized within my mind, something that would be perfect for them to do, but something I know they probably wouldn't do? A full, comprehensive, MOTHER trilogy remake.
