PRIMETIME is fantastic. Darkly hilarious and insightful, a movie about the Nietzche quote about those who fight monsters taking care not to become monsters. Pattinson does the wildest spitting of mouthwash you'll ever see. Skyler Gisondo is phenomenal.

Most of this movie is a fairly earnest WWII partisans vs Nazis story but there's like 20 minutes of SS evil featuring a half man, half ape whose virility will somehow win the war. The Beast seems to have minimal makeup, they just hired an ugly guy.

I tore through YESTERYEAR, which will eventually be an Anne Hathaway movie, but found the ending to be a letdown. It's not bad per se, it's just not as interesting as hoped for, and requires a lot of information withholding to work at all. Very well-written, though, and excellent for 90% of the book
