Man, it's weird. Bluesky has some features that I wish Twitter had, and Twitter has some features that I wish Bluesky had. (Unfortunately though, Twitter has somewhat better functionality, so that's why I'm on there a little more often these days.)

Gonna try something. Please excuse how Tumblr-core my next post/thread is about to be.

000

Haha, you were one of the first accounts I found when I searched Bucky on Twitter tbh. 😆

000

So, I'm not leaving Bluesky. But I also made a new Twitter for my MCU brainrot. If you guys have one as well, you're welcome to follow me @ blackmetalarm.

Picture this. Empire Magazine releases a Thunderbolts* cover that's based off the reveal concept art, except it's the cast in their final designs. Also, Sentry is there.

Anybody wanna be mutuals? Feel free to follow me, especially if you're a big fan of anti-heroes. Mostly the long-haired, metal-arm kind. I'm a big Marvel fan, is what I'm saying; Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier is my favorite character. So expect a lot of that. ( ♡ + ↻ / #promosky )

Yeah, the white one is reeeeally good.

Thinking about Sam's Captain America suits.

0105

Been thinking about this blurry-ass picture every day.

000

Oh yeah, there's definitely a bit of that in there too. Like, there was literally no reason to stir up the discourse, no matter where you really fall on the matter.

000

It all started with the "celebration" of December 16, 1991. That's kinda what started the fire for some people, as far as I'm aware. Like, it wasn't completely out of pocket.

"Sebastian Stan’s depiction as Bucky is one of the most iconic characters in the MCU." — Brad Winderbaum

0105

Damn! Okay. Well, that clears that up. 😅

000

I mean, I know it sounds like I'm going with the easy option... but honestly, I feel like I would THRIVE in Wakanda.

000

With Captain America, the relationship between Steve and Bucky is the narrative throughline that connects them all, and the Guardians exist pretty much outside the rest of the universe so it works as a pretty contained experience.

010

The Captain America trilogy and the Guardians of the Galaxy movies are probably the strongest examples of a conventional trilogy, I think.

You know, trilogies in the MCU are so weird. Because there are other movies in between character films that develop these characters and their arcs, so like it's hard to point to any sub-series that has a consistent throughline.

Yeah, I think because of this show's mostly episodic nature, I might just watch the episodes I'm interested in and skip the others. I have heard good things about that episode, though! Like, apparently Dr. Strange is really good in this show.

000

Question. Is "What If?" worth watching? Like, would you recommend it? I haven't felt overly compelled to check out that series, but the last season's got me vaguely curious. #MCU

WandaVision has a special place in my heart. It's a very unique show, with a beautifully tragic story and a sort of unsettling undertone that I really like.

I don't know about "hate," but not a lot of people seem to talk about Civil War. I love that movie. I think it's my personal favorite in the MCU, because I always come back to it.

Beefy Bucky at his finest. 🦾

000

Because I'm insane and still thinking about it, I actually went ahead and made a tier list for Bucky's MCU fits, ranking the majority of his looks from The First Avenger all the way to Thunderbolts*.
