Isn't that because it's incredibly hard to do because AI is basically random? You have no guarantee a prompt is going to give you anything useful with any consistency so how can you accurately predict how much a person could need? Each prompt is basically like pulling the lever on a slot machine.

Honestly, Kindle is super late to the game on this particular thing. Pretty much every other major E-reader has one. I know for me it's nice to be able to lay in bed, use an articulating arm to position the reader over my head and just lay back and read.
