I don't write this to shame the people who couldn't be there during the euthanasia. It's so hard. It's almost impossible. You have to make the decision that is best for you, too. I just would never forgive myself if I wasn't there. It's something I told myself I would do years ago.

I had to delete the initial thread. But I want to reiterate this Holding your pet during their euthanasia is traumatizing. It's scary. It is so worth it. Your pet deserves the comfort in their last moments. And honestly knowing you're providing that comfort outweighs the discomfort & sadness.

I actually liked Anthem, the base content was interesting and the general gameplay was good. It’s just they failed to follow-up or follow through with anything. It could have been another No Man’s Sky and come back better than ever. Instead it stagnated and died quietly rotting away in a corner

I think it’s alright to take some umbrage with a mechanic that has wonky timing, trust me there are a few boss fights that force you to use gradient counters and boy oh boy are all the the telegraphed super hard except 2 and both of them are incredibly wonky

Due to how it works, I feel the mechanic was meant to have a more cinematic feel, also gradient parries (usually) do untyped damage (or at least prepatch it did) which meant they always hit like trucks.
