i took a stab at drawing my AI sona Ada! i don't have a ton of lore for her yet but she's definitely evil and I want her to control some sort of large megastructure as her normal thing, but when she uploads into a body it takes the form of a sexy deoxys type woman!

i was editing my tayam commander list and I was double checking marvel cards to see if there was anything I missed and wow this card is so good in that deck I feel like. it took me till the third read to realize this says that many on the second ability. like what. its so many counters 🤯

it appears you can devote yourself fully to this demon goddess for a damage and luck stat bonus. she seems to be awaiting an offering, if you so choose....

I've been playing the wandering rescuer in my protection slot in commander a ton and my favorite way to take advantage of her ability is to play a planet land in the mana base (very low opportunity cost). obviously planets are at sorcery speed but it still feels effective in my mind hehe

030

wren | devilcat3d @devilcat3d.bsky.social · 10/12/2025

this seems like an absurdly fun pedh commander like holy shit I should build vehicles lmao

050

wren | devilcat3d @devilcat3d.bsky.social · 07/12/2025

im rebuilding muldrotha and I just realized this is such a good card in the deck. obviously it is a spell so it can't get recast but it lets you put all 5 cards into one pile and essentially lets you draw 5 either pile cause you can cast your yard. also if they choose yard you get a free thopter!

wren | devilcat3d @devilcat3d.bsky.social · 07/12/2025

they really should bring back the sketchy art treatment from mh2 I really really adore them. they're so pretty and unique I try to play them whenever I can (this grist is probably my favorite one). i think this is my favorite treatment for modern mtg cards I would love a return to it :D

wren | devilcat3d @devilcat3d.bsky.social · 06/12/2025

coolest card on the planet and if you disagree then let me show you the door 🚪

after opening an avatar box, I am happy to say that I pulled 3 (count em, three) giant koi cards. i can now accomplish my dream of putting one in every blue deck I build by replacing a land with them 🫡

welp. time to build an overly popular commander because I couldn't resist buying this. she's just so cute I love her horns 🥺

keychain depicting the magic the gathering commander muldrotha, the gravetide. she is very cute and has really pretty horns but is known for being one of the most popular commanders ever

i feel like thassa and Maya sundaresh kinda look similar due to coloration of their head and their general head shape (opinion of a girl who hasnt played much destiny lately but watched gf play edge of fate) anyway maybe thassa would make a cool maya proxy with the devotion being her vex army? idkkk

once again asking for a playable Ormendahl commander. i love him a lot but we don't have any legend for him that's easy to play. i love my boy jerren but he's actually so hard to flip for pretty meager gains so wotc pleeeeeease give me a goated Ormendahl I can play as commander 🥺👉👈

my thoughts on what id want from an additional commander bracket if they added one

after reading the bracket updates for commander I am very interested in the idea of maybe a 2.5 bracket. i really relate to the idea of building creatively and some unoptimal choices for fun and emphasis on social/showing off decks that 2 gives but also like some game changers and playing at a bracket 3 average power level. my girlfriend loves 3-4 brackets so I want to be able to build to keep up with her but I find myself wanting a slower more casual experience that lets me show off my decks more and maybe have slightly longer games while also being able to play stronger cards with less restriction than what bracket 2 actually states rn. so if you read this gavin, I'm all for another bracket! (even if it takes a different form than what I just described)

021

wren | devilcat3d @devilcat3d.bsky.social · 16/10/2025

card I want to build around really bad. but I find auras a little boring to play with. so I must come up with something novel. quite a conundrum 🤔

040

wren | devilcat3d @devilcat3d.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

they should've given the bant katara cards ally ability doubling ability to hakoda. katara would not be doubling abilities with no ability of her own and also she wouldn't be bant hakoda so clearly is bant during the invasion and would love to double his allies abilities he's literally their leader!
