I think that is the one thing about mewgenics that im not too big on. A lot of the npc dialogue falls flat, and while there's still some good jokes here and there, most of it sounds like someone's first attempt at writing adult humor.

i wanna make a game where you paint on the walls of ruins of civilisation, while listening to pre-recorded tapes where I talk about my experience with art stuff, maybe with friends. I know it would be very pretentious and self centered though, so i'm not sure people would like that part of it.

drawing game prototype! ive experimented with implementing drawing in the past, and even necrosis party allows you to doodle on the map, but it's always been super janky and more of an afterthought. Very far from what you'd be able to do in an actual drawing app.

(spoilers for mewgenics) mewgenics has the best use of adaptive music because it has an entire alternative version of hitler's boss theme where the vocals repeatedly chant to keep stomping on his head after you finally manage to break his mech suit top 10 videogame moments im not even kidding

Easily my game of the year. Mewgenics is culmination of all of Edmund's past work. It rarely fails on a game design standpoint and pretty never fails to surprise the player, while still being fun to people who are new and old to the genre.

Good news! Sewers is feature complete! I'm currently working on a new area right now! I'm aiming for around 7 area types but I may lower the number if its too much work. Though making areas in the future shouldn't be as difficult. Video unrelated.
