This is not normal or ok, and it keeps happening. OpenAI needs to be held responsible.

Hey I think you would appreciate this, it is a middleman that compacts command output and reduces token usage written in Rust: github.com/rtk-ai/rtk

Yep, love this comparison. I often tell my less tech-literate friends that "everything is basically a file." Networking and DB concepts get much easier to comprehend because people know what files can do

I am sure you are exploring options like this already, and I don't know if you're using AWS, but I have had great experiences with WAF mitigating attacks like that.

This error shouldn't have been exposed to the user like this, but "binary": not plaintext, could be an image, sound, video, etc. It's not data because, yes, object implies a limit. There is a beginning and end to the blob. Its size is somewhat arbitrary, because its contents are arbitrary.

Yes!!! Needed this a few months ago, this will make writing blogs (that are not necessarily tied to, but interop with leaflet et al.) so much easier

@openstack.org Not sure who manages the website, but currently, if you click "SDKs" on the "Software" dropdown menu, it leads to a 404. All other links in the header seem to work!

I saw a reply to your post this morning that said something like “Individualism highly valued in a society where people don’t want to be individuals” Wanted to bring it back, wish I could find the OP so I could tag them. Great insight.

This is awesome, also, pro tip, use an extension to disable Fandom, because it often wins the SEO war for awhile and you'll click the wrong one out of habit. #mtg chromewebstore.google.com/detail/nofan...

Got the shader bug again, but this time shadertoy.com wasn't cutting it. In college I wrote some shaders that I want to resurrect, but the code that handled the CPU side was a buggy, C++, OpenGL student mess. So, I've begun following a Vulkan tutorial adapted to Rust, and I got my first triangle!

If it was real, OpenAI would be well on its way to be a trillion dollar company. They could just spin up a developer on demand, but they're selling shovels in the gold rush instead. AI is useful, but no silver bullet.

I'm seeing some chatter about verification and some confusion about domain verification. @bsky.app should sell domains! 1. It's a monetization route that integrates tightly with the app. 2. Using this, bluesky can streamline the bluesky verification process for less tech-savvy users! #atproto

Hi Joel, I'll try: Your account details are stored in a repository (you can think of it like a website) called a "PDS" (Personal Data Server). This server is hosted on Bluesky's servers right now, but you can migrate it to one that you host! Or one some other company begins hosting!

Markets can be structured in many ways under capitalism, capitalism is about who owns the capital, thus the name. It’s about an owner class owning capital, and a working class that does not. Fascism is the militarization of a state that defends that hierarchy.

I'm sure the "she doesn't answer questions" meme is being pumped super hard by right wing media, because I see it commented all over videos where she's giving great answers to questions. The ability for grifters to distort reality is real.

Signal boosting @atproto.com, not sure if our environments are missing something (I'm very new to JS dev) or if the example app tutorial is missing a step, but a few of us are getting this error raised by the envalid module in a fresh environment when following the guide for the example app.
