Also the most stressed I have ever been at an airport. I arrived only 1hr30m before my transatlantic flight. At the car rental return. In the wrong terminal. And checked baggage. How i made it idk

Aaah this is a banger screws - it was a semi commission for me after an optimus imagine I ordered was lost in the post. I love this character and how well you shaded them - they will always be on my wall lol.

Quick addendum! Thanks to Goose for joining me in some omega slurpreme shenanigans! Actually thanks to everyone who organised that trip. Thanks to @agentblurr.bsky.social as well for a nice post con chat (and my blurr adjacent reading material for the trip home)

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

To the spree. Thanks for letting a nerdy, robot loving, cosplaying, socially awkward, British kid into your con experience. Post con blues have never hit this hard so quick - that's a testament to how special this con was to me. Idk when I'll be back. But I hope to be soon. Till all are 1

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

Oh no - like TFCon it seems we've reached the end of my thread :( But seriously. This was a bucketlist convention for YEARS and its lived up to the hype and then some. Worth the 7 hour trip, the paperwork, etc. Y'all made this convention for me, from the cosplayers to the guests

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

Thanks for humouring me asking about your costumes and talking about random stuff. Thanks for the stickers. And in general - the standard of cosplay was amazing. Good job to shock wave on Saturday and the skybound Shockwave especially. That was amazing work.

@clownsteeth.bsky.social / @cheesebrackers.bsky.social / @/ toastykeeg - thanks for complementing my costume. Good to shoot the breeze about cats n dogs n sonic and poor fandom choices @/weepus on discord / @beebaue on IG / @syntheticsoda.bsky.social - YOUR COSTUMES WERE AMAZING! BOTH OF THEM.

Its also very cool. And finally, I'd like to think I've left the best, till last - THE PEOPLE! Again, I travelled from the UK to get here and only knowing 1 person, I was worried how I was gonna fit in. But this community was so friendly, and I've met some great craics. In no particular order

100

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

It was great to have such a long conversation with you - and safe travels back! I've forgotten who made the prowl plushie (sorry!!) but all of your stuff was super cute - I had an eye on your shockwave the whole con as well. I've also forgotten who had the tfp art (SORRY I WAS JET LAGGED).

110

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

That was so generous of you ✨✨✨ Most of the pins are from the super talented @erikagskerzz - it's so hard to find enamel pins for TFs so I'm glad I found you! These will make an excellent addition to my bag collection The very talented @rickreyilu for the water colour art, and smokey prints!

110

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

And what would tfcon be without hauls. Or. Haul-y crap I bought a lot of stuff!! Most of the toys are from the Friday auction - glad to do my part for @makeawishintl.bsky.social and get some grails (Red Knockout especially) Thanks to @/omusunda for the Bulkhead merch after seeing my costume <3

110

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

See you and you didn't dissapoint!! And thanks for signing my commission from @nickroche.bsky.social - it was good to see you loved it as much as I did when Nick gave it to me! And my friend says thanks for answering their question - it meant a lot to em!

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

Speaking of sweet ppl - Z Infante was also amazing to meet! I'm a massive Nightshade Stan (quelle surprise) and finding they gave as much drama kid energy as their character was incredible. Thanks for talking with me for ages on Saturday - ur so easy and fun to talk to! I was hyped to

110

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

But finally meeting you 1-1 was even better! Thanks for the photo and all your kind words!! (w/ @/beebaue on IG - awesome costume) Coincidentally there was also a cocktail in the hotel bar named after Miko, described as a "Fruity sweet mocktail." - it was sweet but not as sweet as you were <3

100

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

Speaking of rock stars - I'm sure Tania Gunadi enjoyed playing all of Miko's rockstar scenes! I was so glad to see you! You were so hype and certainly helped keep me and a lot of other cosplayers awake w/ your passing encouragement.

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

And in the case of Hot Rod - they can limbo too (see them celebrating here) And if their panel is anything to go by, I hope the next time I see them won't involve crossing the Pond ;) Time will tell.

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

Thanks for answering all my tricky questions, especially Rumble :3 You were really a bucket list item for this trip, and I would've been gutted to have missed you, so thanks for making the trip from Detroit (!!) to visit your fans! You made the 7 hour flight here worth it - YOU GUYS ROCK 🤟🤟🤟

100

DeusX 🔜??? @deusx.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

But the attendees weren't the only thing that rocked, the guests did too! Especially the @cybertronicspree.bsky.social @/destrondrummer on IG I've been waiting to see you guys for over 4 years since IACon online, and it was worth it. You guys were so bloody nice, talented, and funny as hell!
