food. (at palpitate coffee) ☕️ as always, thoughts on all of the food will be in the alt! #vtuber #vsky #malevtuber #skyfood

Grilled Cheese — Interesting presentation, but also an interesting choice to put apple slices underneath the cheese and have it be on top of the bread. There’s also the dip in which is apparently honey. I ain’t complaining but this feels so weird to me for them to do this but I don’t know what to describe the taste, maybe I’m just so used to the traditional way of grilled cheese… 😵‍💫

🍜 (for feed reasons)

Mozzarella Sticks — The presentation for it is lovely! Okay cheese pull, breading is fine and all, but the dipping adds to it. While I can’t fully recall what the dip tasted like, it probably has a sweet kick to it to balance out what’s already salty.

Supposedly “English Breakfast” — I mean, it’s Palpitate Coffee’s take on the breakfast, but it already isn’t traditional enough due to the wrong choice of eggs (i still preferred scrambled tho fite me) and the inclusion of waffles instead of toast, lack of tomatoes, bacon, black pudding and hashbrowns in terms of accuracy, but why use lettuce instead of tomatoes? XD

Back to it, the taste is alright, I can’t pinpoint what exactly made me think that, but I can’t complain.

Dessert! — Cheesecakes! The strawberry one is packed with flavour, as is with my last “food.” post at BNK, but holy cow I cannot stand the tape & the plastic thing around the cheesecakes 😭

As for the Biscoff Cheesecake, it might be just me, but I’m not really a fan. I get that it isn’t that sweet but maybe that’s just my preference. If you like your cheesecake topped with Biscoff on top, I can’t stop you.

if you think that was all, naaaah, i got the bonus round as well — dessert!!

Leche Flan — Another classic, nothing can go wrong with it and it’s not sweet either. Got nothing to say about this one.

Blueberry Cheesecake — I’m assuming there are actual blueberries on top, but I might be tripping. It’s pretty much some kind of new york style cheesecake with blueberry jam of some sorts on the top. Nothing special about that.

#vtuber #vsky #skyfood yo determinees, heres some… food. (at BNK Cafe & Resto, my thoughts on what i got will be in the alt!)

Beef Sisig at BNK — Also w/ Java Rice, and I won’t lie, it’s incredibly hot but once I took a bite out of it, it’s got that beefy kick to it that the Pork version of the sisig could never. Maybe that’s just my preference, but y’know!

🍜 (for reasons, you’ll get why. :3)

Broccoli & Beef — A classic, adapted to BNK. I got nothing to say to this one, but it’s a classic combination. Beef is soaked in thanks to the broth but is still tender enough, and other veggies were included in the mix.

Buffalo Wings — Also their own take, it’s spicy and I won’t lie, the sauce is a bit too much on the chicken but it retained that crunch, so I’ll give them that. It burnt my mouth but there will definitely be a lot of consequences for my toilet between a few hours and days. Time will tell.

And finally, Calamari/Calamares — Good ol’ rings with a dipping sauce that, I’m not too sure how to describe it but could it be using tartar? I dunno, at that point. It’s still delicious but there needs to be more sauce to balance out the amount of calamari but thankfully, I had my brother with me for this one.

for context if you’ve checked the quote post: i actually made my take of a good friend of mine, @dontluck2.bsky.social im not like, the best at it but i tried; more yapping in the alt text

im not really like, 100% the best with designing but

this is my take on dontluck2’s design, some aspects have been changed that were not in this prototype such as the fedora, because im trying to figure out a good symbol of a rat that also reflects a dj theme, he also has red and black-ish hair

i wanted to in a way, give off a casual aesthetic like those pictures of porter robinson and/or madeon but retaining aspects of what makes dontluck, dontluck (in a way reminds me of those retro vibes knowing what he uses in his music, idk)

yeah, his ears are akin to jane doe’s from zenless zone zero because she also is a rat lol (though im still unsure about how id design the tail, bc thats hard :C)

if theres some changes you want me to make, i’ll be up for it (just be constructive about it lol)

You know what? I have plans for myself. This is my 3.0 design, it’s in the prototyping stage so aspects of it are NOT final. If you are wondering, yes. I’m a PECKIN’ BIRD (california scrub jay inspired) 🐦 see you in 2026, determinees. I _H__ _E F___. #vtuber #dtLIVE

My official DeterminedTorres 3.0 prototype design, it might not be final so expect some changes. You’re welcome to take this as reference for fanart you make of me!

California scrub jays are a big influence while keeping a more casual style and while it might not look like it’s actually scrub jay themed, I’m digging it so far.

I also want to point out there is a badge of my 1.0 if you are reading the alt text. Look closely. :3
