noodling around with Nero and Cindy's Tomodachi Life fakebabies. needs a bit of work, but I actually kinda like them Prue is a mad scientist like her dad, but she's in it more for fun than prestige; Remi thinks he's an anime villain. :)

time to study Vanta a bit, and also bes mean to her... 👀

A rough expression sheet featuring Vanta in different emotional states.

Vanta casting an iconic silhouette in the darkness, before the stupid streetlight comes along and ruins her moment.

Made some tweaks to her build, I really want her TALL tall. (also to show markings and her little wings)

A color drawing of Vanta, but with much longer legs. She is wearing heels and a set of sleek, strapless dark purple underwear that mimics the design of her uniform.

new cast member: Vanta. Very Serious and Completely Original Vigilante. Her entire job is to hide in the shadows in a world where the sun keeps coming out, and her dramatic cape is a few inches too long. Enjoys the occasional late-night Krispy Creme cruller.

A tall, dark, slightly severe-looking bat lady in an oversized cape, and a costume not at all reminiscent of some other bat-themed hero. She looks preemptively annoyed.

ridiculous, ultra-quick beat between Nero and Thorn (follow the arrows). everybody's off-model, yaaaay~ not no-homo or anything, they just hate each other's guts :D

Deswarner @deswarner.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

finally, I get to introduce this guy from later in the narrative :D at some point, the city decides Thorn needs supervis- er, help. so they assign him a nice, fully-approved, younger, more competent, not-at-all-humiliating partner named Aegis.

A drawing establishing the design for Aegis. He is a gold, cream and brown chipmunk with red hair, overly-intense blue eyes, and freckles. He wears a red hoodie with a badge, tan leggings and brown leather boots.

Aegis telling Thorn how much FUN they're going to have working together. Thorn's expression is about what you'd expect.

I made a shirt out of this one because I really wanted one, yaaay~ brainsib.myspreadshop.com

Nero and Cindy, in swimwear, riding a wave of toxic waste swirling with debris and ephemera from the preceding lab explosion. The design is bordered with text that reads "UNRESTRAINED SUMMER FUN???"
