⚽ despelote is OUT NOW on Steam, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Coming soon to Switch. A bittersweet and sometimes dreamy semi-autobiographical tale of youth taking place in 2001 Quito, Ecuador. Hecho con pasión.

🗣️ ¡COMPRE SUS CEVICHOCHOS! if you visit Quito, chances are you'll run into a street vendor selling ceviche de chochos, a zesty veggie snack with lupini beans (chochos) marinated in lime. despelote would not be complete as a game about Quito if you couldn't eat some!

🐛 one small landmark from Quito, Ecuador you'll find in despelote is this caterpillar jungle gym from La Carolina! you'll find it pretty early in the game as you explore our own in-game park. truly an innovation in playground equipment.

we went to a school in Quito to capture sounds and visuals for reference in despelote! 🏫🎒 it's important for our game to capture a true ambient vibe, and we hope this comes through in the final game.
