What I heard was: I saw my mother do it all with no support from my father, her family, his family or community so I refuse to support my partner in a meaningful way because you’re not better than my mom so you don’t deserve ease & if you have a support system I will shame you & try to isolate you.

My reminder that NOTHING breeds violence, like poverty. Huge corporations playing with the lives of everyday people will come to a head, and we live in an armed country. It’s about to get REEEEEAAAAAL French around here and I get it. I’m not even mad at it.
