Next on my #WoWForever checklist that I would love if @blizzard.com could get rid of, is meters. Leave that for Retail and Classic, let’s move away from the meta toxicity. Slower and easier gameplay and encounters should not require or need any of the data meters provide.

Squadron 42 can’t release, even if it’s done. Because if it’s bad or even just mediocre at this point it’s going to tank the company. If they can’t get a single player game good after 10+ years there is zero hope about the Star Citizen PU can be built by them, too much risk.

After 25+ years in Tech it always amazes me that the simple act of powering down a piece of equipment can kill it. I powered down an old NAS to replace some failed drives and no longer boots, 2011 era tech but was working fine. Thankfully I had a server to move the drives into. TrueNAS and ZFS FTW!

Used Kimi K3 to do some security reviews on my code bases that otherwise hit roadblocks with Fable and Sol. Pretty good, it’s nice not hitting roadblocks just trying to get basic security in the apps. Probably going to cancel Claude until they stop with the 50% limit. Sol and K3 seem solid duo.

Loved my time in #Winnipeg, but between last year and this year downtown go soooo much worse. Saw open drug use, used needles in the ground, trash everywhere, people holding up traffic on Main St on purpose (dancing, being aggressive). They gotta do something.

So Pablo from #Warframe said in his novella about why he doesn’t like Trials/Raids is that EDA/TDA was a solution to player optimization. He the recently posted a chat that shows Hildryn as the most used frame by far. She’s not OP, but she is always the correct answer for those game modes.

I have another app that I’m using AI to build and it’s how dangerous it can be. It s a Supabase backend and trying to get the thing to stop nuking the db is a full time job. If AI can do something it will eventually do it even if you tell it not to.

Really sad to see the Bungie layoffs. Destiny 2 has been a part of my life since it came out and I’ll forever hold those memories. The developers/artists/designers/qa/cms are not at fault. I only wish those who decisions lead the studio to this point will never get the chance again.

Another really shitting thing about the state that Bungie left #Destiny2 is that the game will still be on, but you can’t play the story end to end. I can pick up FF14 and play the entire story and get tons of content. Same with GW2, ESO, etc. Vaulting and seasonal only stories suck.

Ohh for this Summer event #STO allows the buy to be in Dilithium. That’s a great way to add in another Dil sink in the game, but 5mil Dil is crazy high. I would say maybe 1/3 that would be ideal. Also I wonder why the max Dil to Zen exchange rate it capped at 500:1 that would help the backlog too.
