Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 01/10/2026September's books read. The Russian isekai binge continues! Already switching up October a bit but I'm sure I'll come back. #booksky #books #storygraph #HealersWay 030
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 10/09/2026I'm always skeptical too but having recorded way too much random stuff of my kid I could see this one. Could be that they had a funny reaction with the vacuum before so they are trying to catch something like that again. 000
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Thank you for this. Just make sure whatever stance you take is against all camera brands trying to do this, not just Flock. 051
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 08/09/2026There was a lady showing up in my algorithm during the last Winter Olympics that did just that. So there are people that do it, but would be fun to be more widely shown somehow. 011
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Neat, but what if you're upstairs and someone locks it into the closed position? :) 040
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 01/09/2026August's books read. I've somehow stumbled into a Russian isekai rabbit hole lately. #books #booksky 050
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 07/08/2026Interesting as a male consumer. Gender is never a consideration when picking a book to read (for good or bad). Looking at my list of authors read this year, it looks pretty even between men, women, and pseudonyms that aren't obvious which they are. (Not disagreeing with your stats though). 010
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 10/07/2026I feel like that ladder is too short to comfortably get to the books at the top. 140
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 08/07/2026Would be nice to make solar more affordable to more home owners. 010
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 08/07/2026I think it's the same person that used to post here: bsky.app/profile/joys... But haven't been active lately.bsky.app 000
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 17/06/2026I mean if you have that much green mana, sounds like a good idea to send your Force of Nature flying over the defenses haha. 140
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 15/06/2026Sometimes they throw you a curve-ball though. I enjoy such books for stories of small businesses in small towns, building community, found family, etc. But the last one of these types of books was just all sex haha. Awkward review in the family book club. 130
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 15/06/2026Dolly Parton is doing her part. Parents still need to read the books sent to them to the kids though. 060
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 15/06/2026Very cool. I wonder if the female reproductive imaging is purposeful or coincidence. 120
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 11/06/2026About once a month I find myself watching people react to Mr. Rogers that haven't heard of him before. I generally end up happy crying at the wholesomeness and positivity that spreads. #mrrogers #wholesome 020
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 01/06/2026#booksky May's reads. Still enjoying the House Witch universe. 070
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 26/05/2026I'm semi-guilty of this when I need to get through a library book faster than I'd normally want to and I know I won't be able to check it out again without a long hold. When trying to figure out how to get through hundreds of pages on a weekend I'll sometimes skim a bit. 130
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 05/05/2026I liked the older way Libby did holds better for this reason. When you could manually set how many days to put something on hold you could better manage when to line up your next listen. 030
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 05/05/2026My wife and I have been playing in the evenings. Fun family game that we're enjoying! Good job with the game. 020
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 01/05/2026April books read. Enjoyed several shorter books in a couple series. Pretty busy month on the audio book side of things. #booksky #books #audiobooks 090
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 20/04/2026I once rated a book 5 stars that I would have usually given 3. The book I had read previously was so depressing that the next book was in the right place at the right time to give me the pick me up I needed. It made me realize there's a lot of feelings on books that aren't in the book's control. 0100
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 16/04/2026Beware of Chicken 3 (Obviously you'd need to read the other two books first :) ) 020
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 14/04/2026I think the bigger deal is being Amazon exclusive. As a reader that doesn't want to give my money to Amazon, I just lose access to many books altogether. 120
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 01/03/2026Getting caught up on my books stats. Here's January and February. #books #booksky #litrpg 093
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 06/02/2026Was excited to see a couple Northern Flickers at my feeders at the same time today. I've never seen more than one at once and that was pretty uncommon occurrence. #birds #flicker #birdwatching 013

Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 19/01/2026Lots of rerunsmedia.tenor.coma black and white photo of two people walking down a dirt road in a park .ALT: a black and white photo of two people walking down a dirt road in a park . 021
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 19/01/2026Right there with you. Let my Prime expire last fall. Fallout is the first show I was sad to miss but not sad enough to pick Prime back up. 050
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 15/01/2026I feel like that with Star Wars when they kept making changes with each release. I know what the end of Return of the Jedi is supposed to be like and none of my media matches up. 1130
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 14/01/2026In the same category, I was going to recommend Chef and My Fridge. Korean cooking show but lots of fun and laughing with the cooking. 010
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 02/01/2026Results vary by library but don't sleep on Hoopla. I'm a big Libby user but was frustrated that Libby didn't have many LitRPG books but was able to find quite a few in Hoopla (still free from the library). 130
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 15/12/2025Took a while for the birds to find my new bird feeders but the gang is starting to show up today. #birds #bluejay #cardinal 010
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 11/12/2025I was thinking cloning as well. Lots of frozen flakes of dna shattered about. 120
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 11/12/2025Someone didn't get the pecking order memo. Cardinal is only expected to get pushed around by blue jays or woodpeckers. 020
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 08/12/2025media.tenor.coma man in a red robe is surrounded by red glowing hands .ALT: a man in a red robe is surrounded by red glowing hands . 020
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 05/12/2025Lots of "Potty Time" being played in our house lately haha. Hope you have a nice holiday season. 040
Desh @deshende.bsky.social · 03/12/2025I kept thinking that too. That method of zooming in is common with AI videos. Kevin being the same height as Joe Pesci when they are standing next to each other looks odd to me too. 020
