The politics of the Fascist Socialists vs. the Creeping Socialists consumes the country. But we need to step back and see that the struggle should be more fundamental: liberty vs. government. In a free world, governance will be private, i.e., voluntary, rather than coercive.

As for DHS funding, end the department and as many of its units as possible. The TSA should be abolished; airport security should be private. Restore open borders, adopt unilateral free trade, and accept a free market in drugs, and most of the work of the other agencies will be unnecessary.
