Congress needs to walk out until the checks and balances are restored. The U.S. needs to see and feel the truth fast, this is a dictatorship.

It’s a ridiculous minimum wage for sure. But most states minimum wages are much higher and employers have to pay enough to get employees to take a job so is it even a relevant issue? Are these Senators simply saying the Fed does not need to be involved in setting wages?

I’ve always thought that about songs as well. They have all been written or just exist. A artist that writes a hit of the ages in 10 minutes is gifted with the ability to hear them somewhere and bring them to the present. It’s the only explanation.

I was sad to see Pelosi refuse to help lift up the next generation of leaders, specially AOC. She took a modest salary and turned it into $200 million from insider trading. Very sketchy. So sad to see what she has become. Keep staying prepared, staying strong AOC! We need you.

Five years ago I subscribed. In 2024 no way. I’ll stay with the BBC, Reuters, even Reddit r/news is more objective. I’m not looking for an echo chamber just fair and balanced reporting. NYT sees the ridiculous cabinet picks and diplomatic appointments and reply Hunter was pardoned we are ruined!

PE false equivalence. Tax problems paid in full with interest and falsifying a gun application are certainly not right. A minor charge with something like probation and community service makes sense. Tagging Hunter with multiple felonies was purely political requiring a political solution.

So we are on our own in how to handle the next inevitable pandemic. Polio would still be prevalent if it was a new disease in the last decade. There is no way we could get herd immunity to wipe out a disease anymore. Just mask up, get vaccinated, avoid close contact and let Darwin do his thing.
