“Why don't we let him out of the chair?” Wesley said.
She cast him an annoyed glance, spoon tip digging in slightly to the bright pink flesh under Owen's pulled-down eyelid. Owen’s eyes watered; he made a sound in his throat Wesley liked.
“You just want him to run so you can chase him down again.”
“Yes—I mean no!” Wesley caught her wrist, her tension humming in the palm of his hand, how every muscle in her body was engaged in the act of holding herself in check. Sweat beaded on her forehead as the tendons stood out in her neck. “Kenzie, you don’t really want to cut out Owen’s eye.”
“I do,” she said. “I want to cut out his eye.”
“But Kenzie,” said Wesley with greatest sincerity, “have you considered that if you start with his eyes, he will not be able to cry as you work elsewhere.”
Her brows lifted in utmost consideration.
“No!” Wesley said. “That is not what I meant to say. I meant to remind you of how much we both like Owen with his eyes in his head. Otherwise what will he refuse to look at us with?”
She frowned and thought about it. After a moment, she said, “But his eyes will probably grow back.”
“We can’t be sure of that.”
“His toes grew back.”
If Wesley had still been trapped in his glamoured, iron-boned body, he’d have crushed her wrist the same way he'd crushed Brian Donovan’s. Now, he could only slam her forearm against the wall. The spoon clattered to the floor, and he pushed her back against the glass door, her now-empty hand trapped between them. He could hear Owen behind him taking huge sucking gasps of air around the bit.
“Your eyes,” said Kenzie, meeting them, “would not grow back.”

I imagine that Aerith is as loud as what is necessary for a fitting performance. I imagine if hes not pretending and just being forced to endure or take it hes pretty quiet other than a few sobbing beeps. Zippy's a screamer tho. She's loud until her voice is raw and her throat stings
