What's behind my speedster isn't lightning. He's got his heartbeat instead. 🫀 It's one of my favorite things about him, and I'm excited for you all to see more. Amazing artwork as always by Jeff Sadzinski #pulsecomic #comics #indiecomics #superhero #speedster

Thank you! Seeing the script turn into actual pages never gets old. Glad you're enjoying the peek, and there will be plenty more behind the scenes to share as we go!

Thank you, that really means a lot! Issue 1 is moving along well. A good chunk of the pages are drawn, colors are in the works, and the rest of the art is on the way. Can't wait to share more soon!

I was born needing a heart transplant. At the age of nine, I was told I'd need another. This is why I'm making PULSE. #pulsecomic #comicbookcreator #creatorowned #hearttransplant #storytime #indiecomics

Pulse's power isn't just speed -- it's output. He can push his replacement heart past 100%, and the higher he drives it, the more it gives him. Art by Jeff Sadzinski Colors to come. #indiecomics #pulsecomic #creatorownedcomics #speedster

Here are 6 visor concepts for PULSE. I picked number 6. I write the book, I don't draw it. That makes it my job to provide the brief and the references. Once the artist had that to work with, this is what came back. Which one would you have picked? 🤔💭 Amazing work done by Jeff Sadzinski

The first Batman comic I ever drew was a crossover with the Hulk.

I'm Preston, writer of PULSE -- a creator-owned superhero comic. I've known how fragile life is since birth. Multiple heart transplants will do that. What could've broken me gave me a lens on second chances I wouldn't trade. PULSE -- Issue #1 is written. More to come soon. #indiecomics #pulse
