Update: My friends have successfully moved in but have ran into some problems while moving. Novi's job's start date was delayed and a bunch of other issues happened which means they really need any help that you can spare. Thanks so much for the help so far <3 gofund.me/7207eecf

Hey, unfortunately my close friends are in a bad financial situation right now. They need help with moving costs to a place with more job opportunities, since they have all been struggling hard with making enough for rent. If you can spare anything consider helping them out. gofund.me/ebd667d9

And that wraps up the photos I took on my holiday! I did quite a lot more while I was over, just forgot to take pictures in the moment lol

And on the way from Iceland to Heathrow, I took photos of the Scottish Highlands and the north west coast of England. Final photo is of a somewhat rare phenomenon called a "pilot's glory", glad that I noticed it and managed to take a photo just in time.

As I was flying back to Iceland I took these. Canada really is a beautiful country.

I've been meaning to post some of the pictures I took on my holiday/trip to Vancoufur but was busy and kept forgetting, so here's a thread! First set of photos: Heathrow Terminal and boarding flight

A photo of the travelator hallway leading to Heathrow Terminal 2

A photo of Heathrow Terminal 2's atrium taken from above

A photo of the outside Heathrow Terminal 2, with planes docked at gates

A photo of the plane that I was boarding, taken from the passenger boarding bridge.

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

Yeah, I'd also like the translate function to work in-app, instead of taking you out to Google Translate it.
