This honestly surprises me because I always considered perseverance my primary. But after reading the descriptions, kindness/perseverance definitely makes sense for me. 💜💚 And reading that tagline (“No matter how many times I got hurt, I never let that make me cruel.”) resonates with me so much.

An image of my results from the SOUL Virtues Extractor. My main SOUL trait is Kindness (81%) with a secondary of Perseverance (71%). Then it goes Bravery (45%), Integrity (39%), Determination (35%), Patience (35%), and Justice (33%). The tagline for Kindness reads “GREEN SOUL: No matter how many times I got hurt, I never let that make me cruel.”

Packing up some of my piano books and I did not realize UTDR had this many until I put them all together LOL

finally got a copy of the deltarune ch 3+4 piano score and some highlights

There’s a note on this measure that says “If you can play this, go for it! Or have Mike play it with you.”

Snippet of the sheet music for “Sound Check” that includes Susie’s drum solo. The note below the drum solo simply reads “Susie no”

Snippet of the first measure for “C”. The tempo indication is “Mom’s home… = 119” There’s also a note within the first measure that reads “breath?”

A picture of the beginning of the piano sheet music for “The place where it rained”. The first line has no notes and simply says “it smells nice… after the rain”.

My identity is something I consider very personal to me. I don’t normally share this part of myself openly online. All I will say is that even though I discovered this term later in my life, it still was just as validating. Wishing you all a Happy Pride!

120

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 26/03/2025

It’s the last week of NaNoRenO. I just have to make these CGs and finish the BGs. Even if it’s crappy I just gotta do it.

210

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 24/03/2025

Day 23! I finished Meli’s mom’s sprites! Wow I might actually have a chance at finishing this 😭 I have to draw some CGs x_x But I’m gonna make them as simple as possible because ahhhhhhhh This VN will lack the polish I’d like it to have. But at this point my goal is to finish.

240

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 23/03/2025

STILL DAY 22! FINISHED THE LITTLE CAT SPRITES! Still a menace to society.

220

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 22/03/2025

Day 22! It’s been busy, but Meli’s sprites are done! I think my favorite is her pleading face (2nd row, 1st sprite). I just gave her “sad wet cat” vibes 🤣 Now all I have left is Meli’s mom and the cat. I’m going to attempt to finish those sprites this weekend. x_x

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 19/03/2025

Day 18. Look at this child. She really wants a pet kitty cat.

Drawing of a young girl leaning forwards with her hands behind her back. Her eyes are closed and she’s grinning. She has medium length hair and wears overalls and a striped shirt. She has a pawprint barrette in her hair.

Drawing of a young girl with her hands clasped in front of her. Her pupils are huge and glossy, like she’s about to cry. Her mouth is a wobbly frown. She has medium length hair which is drooping and wears overalls and a striped shirt. She has a pawprint barrette in her hair.

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 17/03/2025

Day 16. Scrapping the previous lineart and starting over… again lol orz I just didn’t like it as much as I wanted to. I think I prefer this. Well I have to be okay with it now. I can’t keep messing with it and I’m WAY behind. I know I should probably name my layers I ALWAYS DO THIS TO MYSELF 😭

220

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 14/03/2025

Day 13. Did some lineart! I still need to sketch the rest of the sprites, though. I'm not planning on doing any shading or anything, just flats. I'll be honest, with some life stuff coming up for the next two weeks, I worry I won't make the deadline. I'm still going to do my very best, of course!

240

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 11/03/2025

Day 10. Didn't get much done, unfortunately. I started sketching Meli's sprite, separating it into parts for potential layered images... if I have time. I tried to do some lineart, but it didn't turn out the way I wanted, so I scrapped it. That's something I always struggle with 😭

230

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 07/03/2025

Day uh... -checks calendar to be sure- 7!! I managed to get some rough sketches to know what size I should make the sprites! That's as much as I can do for this weekend unfortunately. But I'll hit the ground running once I'm free again! 🦋💫

A rough sketch of sprites. From left to right: a young girl with short hair wearing overalls and a striped shirt, a black cat with big yellow-green eyes, a young woman with long hair, a cardigan and a necklace. The background is a sketch of a kitchen. On top of the sketch is a dialogue box and visual novel quick menu.

140

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 06/03/2025

So I didn’t start sketching the sprites today because why would I follow my project plan orz BUT I sketched the BGs instead! Only drawing 3 because that’s all I can do this month 😅 I’m taking heavy cues from the Powerpuff (Classic) BG style. In fact, majority of the VN moodboard is PPG screenshots

Sketch of a neighborhood block with those houses in the midground and trees and a city skyline in the background. The letters “W-I-P” are written over the sketch with the name “Cho” and a little doodle of a butterfly below it.

Sketch of a bedroom with a bed on the left, a nightstand with a lamp on top, a laundry basket full of clothes, and a shelf full of books, a picture of a cat, and a picture frame on the walls. There’s also a rug on the floor, an open door, and a window. The letters “W-I-P” are written over the sketch with the name “Cho” and a little doodle of a butterfly below it.

Day 4. alright cho. you gotta start drawing the sprites today. you just have to do it.

120

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 04/03/2025

I sadly won't have time to craft my own UI (got a lot going on this month.) So I'll be using @katy133.bsky.social's Softie GUI Framework! (katy133.itch.io/softie-gui-f...) It's really cute and perfectly matches the cute, wholesome vibe I'm going for! I threw my VN's logo at the top and ta-da!

I KNOW I have to sit down and write. I KNOW I just have to do it.

230

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 02/03/2025

Got quite a bit done on day 1! Not as much as I would've liked, but it's still progress! I'm trying to write in Twine and plan to use the Twine to Ren'Py converter later. I like being able to see a visual of the VN's flow while I write. But it's taking some getting used to writing in Twine.

250

ChoCho 🦋💫 @derpychocho.itch.io · 01/03/2025

Here's my little concept sketch! My idea is a simple little story about the little girl named Meli that finds a cat and takes it home with her. However, her mom says she can't have a pet, so Meli has to try to hide her. My idea was for the cat to be a void with eyes XD
