It's the Swiss trains. Formerly, German trains were aloud on Swiss railtracks, but since they have so many delays, they must stop now at the German Swiss border. German travellers then have to disembark and use a Swiss train to continue their travels in Switzerland. The times they are a'changing. 🎶

Actually, I use "the media" as an umbrella term for the classic trio print, TV and radio as well as the web and social media. When I have to differentiate, I just list which media I mean. Does that make sense? ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

And if they didn't fix it in London, it didn't bother them. 👍 I'm not familiar with the apps you have to use for the BBC. But if you have the chance, you can use Apple's own Final Cut Pro App for filming and fixing the white balance beforehand.

It's not too bad. One could have fixed it in post - with VN Video Editor (iOS and Android, free app) fir instance. But it might have become greenish (photo). So given the short time. All's well. :)

So far, I heard only good comments on the DJI wireless mics. Boys had always been a black box for me: some mics were decent, others completely impossible for professional production.

Let us know what the sound is like, please. I tested some cheap to budget wireless solutions and the sound ranged from bad to okay-ish. But it was never good enough for professional productions.

For anyone wondering about my job, it’s (partly) getting BBC staff to understand why simple things like the right frame rate can make a video…better. Look in the top left - see how the lights flicker wildly at 24/30/60fps but not at 25fps? Better for the viewer, better for TV.
