For the past two weeks I’ve been getting out of the iCloud ecosystem. Docs, passwords and photos are migrated to owncloud and the first backup is doing its thing. Will take a while though 😄 Might order a Fairphone tomorrow.. we’ll see!

Final couple of hours before heading back to The Netherlands. It’s been great being in Pittsburgh! Met a lot of cool people and learned a ton of new things. My first #PyConUS has been amazing and I look forward to future editions 🐍

It will be hard to switch back to regular breakfasts after #pyconus ☕️

Talking about #PyConUS, I’m going to step out of my comfortzone tomorrow. Kind of looking forward to it, though!

Had a great time at #FlaskCon that was being held during #PyConUS! Some of the projects that I’m really proud of are built with Flask. It’s still my go-to framework when the choice is mine

Derk Weijers @derkweijers.bsky.social · 14/05/2025

Also, since I’m jet lagged, I’ve been listening to Avicii since 4:30am and I’m so ready to hit the gym before we start our day of exploring Pittsburgh

Good morning world! This weekend I’ve started, besides my regular gym workouts, with a calisthenics regime. My. Body. Hurts. Enough room for improvement 🥲💪

@marcolangbroek.bsky.social Hi! Any idea what could have reentered over NL at 4:44 this morning? Looked pretty cool, especially since we had clear skies. First a single big chunk, 15 seconds later something broke off and it disintegrated some 30 seconds after that

Every year around this time I feel like playing the original #thedivision again. And it was only 5 euros for the #Steam version! Which means I’ve had a license for this game on three platforms now 🙃
