Absolutely cracking game of #Pillage tonight at the Hamburg club. The Saxons and the Vikings got into a proper ruck whilst the sneaky Welsh were having away with the boat. Looking forward to our Geekend gaming event where @redmanphill.bsky.social has designed a supper campaign for us.

First run through of Soldiers of Napoleon.. the French broke the British through musketry which problems means I got loads of rules wrong as that never happened in Sharpe! #wargaming #napoleonicwargaming

What a flanker! The swirling blades of the Woodelves meet the incomprehensible and uncompromising force of Noley Foley and his Orc mercenaries. The Greatswords look on impressed. #warhammer #theoldworld

The diorama at Waterloo. Thousands of 1:72 figures I think. Who wouldn’t love to push figures around on that. #nerdlings #napoleon #wargaming

A fine game of The Old World today with @redmanphill.bsky.social Empire vs Beastmen. Cowardly generals and misfiring cannons made their mark on the narrative. #warhammer #theoldworld #nerdlings

The Austrians and the French meet at the shrine… the Eldritch energy within attacked but did not perturb the Austrian officer. Great game of #silverbayonet and inspiration for a future campaign.

My last British regiment - the 24th, 2nd Brigade, 1st Division. Now time to move on to the French. The plan is to have 2 useable forces for Soldiers of Napoleon.

All this talk about Warhammer The Old World has got me rebasing my army. It didn’t see much action in Age of Sigmar (a background I don’t hold much affection for) but I think these will take to the field!
